What a load of crap. They are making record profits off the backs, and even lives, of Chinese workers being abused daily, and they know it. Spending money on PR won’t change that.
As this (http://ow.ly/8JoN9) link makes clear, I’m not the only person who thinks that a company so capable of ruthlessly squeezing inefficiencies out of the supply chain, could eliminate what are egregious labour standard violations, if it really wanted to.
But they don’t want to, because that would mean they would make only a few billions in profits, and then the CEO might not get $300 million in pay; he’d only get a few million.
You usually only find this mix of arrogance and greed on Wall St…
